The library has a collection of about 21,000 Books.

The library subscribes to
150 magazines and periodicals.

The valuable books
that are rarely available or either
not available are retained at Reference
Section, which includes various Dictionaries,
Encyclopedias, and Dictionaries of words
defined by ILO and Other World Encyclopedic
reference books. In addition, the Institute
has Encyclopedia Britannica, Encyclopedia
on International Labour Law & Industrial
Relations for occupational Health and safety and other professional
Encyclopaedia.
Statistical Information
The Library of the
Institute maintains pocket books
and publications giving information
on Labour Statistics, Economic Intelligence
Service, India Database, census publications etc.
Government Publications
The Library of the
Institute subscribes all the State
and Central Government publications
viz. Five Year Plans, Industrial Surveys,
Reports of various Commissions, Digest of Indian Labour Research etc.
