The Minister
for Labour and Employment, Government
of Gujarat is the Presidentof Institute.
It comprises of representatives
of Workers, Employers, ILO, Academic
Institutes, Government of India &
Gujarat and persons who have
made noteworthy contributions in the
field of labour and labour relations.
The Memorandum of
the Association, Rules and Regulations
provide for two principal organs of
the Institute, namely General Council
and Executive Council. The Director
General of the Institute is appointed
by the Government of Gujarat for the
administration and to exercise general
supervision over all the activities
of the Institute.
